Most of the trail has plenty of room for passing but is a little more challenging than the usual gravel road. There are trails that go to the top of Green Mountain, but most of the descents are pretty technical and mountain bike would probably be preferred. However, I have seen a handful of our dropbar brethren cruising even Green Mountains most difficult trails." |

Most of the long stretches on top of the mesa are smooth gravel roads with a bunch of little single-track offshoots to other parts. This is a great way to get some dirt in while cruising through the Golden area. A lot of riders up on South Table will be on their mountain bikes but it provides a fun little challenge for the gravel enthusiasts. Be aware that rattle snakes like it up there, especially from March thru November. " |
